WalterFISHERIt is with great sadness that we mourn the passing of Walter on February 3rd 2021 in his 99th year. Walter will be so missed by June, Leslie, Derry, Rick and grandchildren Robert, William and Erika. Funeral Service will be held for family and close friends at St Mary's Church, West Harptree on Tuesday, February 23rd at 1.30 pm, followed by interment at Harptree Cemetery. Family flowers only, donations if desired for St Mary's Church, West Harptree are being accepted in Walter's memory by Michael W Rowe Funeral Directors, 2, The Vinery, Harford Square, Chew Magna. My dear U.K. family, your cousin from the "colonies" (Walter's definition) shares in your sadness and incredible loss. Even though across the sea, he was loved greatly and treasured
as the family member who demonstrated what it is to have a life full of love and joy. He was so proud of all of you and I can only imagine how much appreciated the loving care he received from each of you. There are some people who are so special they should live forever and that is Walter Fisher. He showed such amazing courage throughout his life and, in his later years, never complained and appeared to live beautifully content with his music and his reading. That is how I will remember him as he resides in my heart forever.
